As Bosch&deJong will be the official Poetry International Festival bookstore again this year, we will be organising an extra Book Club to get into the mood!
So if you have finished Kitchen already and want to cram in more reading, or can't make it on the 24th of May anyway, please join us in reading and discussing:

We will be talking about Citizen by Claudia Rankine on the 31st of May (Wednesday), at 7pm, in the Fenix Food Factory.

As usual, signing up to reserve a place is required, either via e-mail or reach us any other way :)

The book is only available in English for now, the Dutch translation will be presented during the festival. Come by the shop to pick up your copy, or let us know if you'd like us to reserve one for you!

Aanmelden is, zoals altijd, verplicht, dat kan via e-mail of op alle manieren waarop je ons kunt bereiken :).
Het boek is alleen in het Engels beschikbaar, de Nederlandse vertaling verschijnt tijdens het festival.
Kom langs de winkel om een exemplaar op te halen of laat ons vast weten of we een exemplaar voor je kunnen reserveren.

What is Educate Yourself Book Club?

A cool book club hosted by Bosch&deJong for people who enjoy reading and are interested in learning and debating about diverse themes (racism, feminism, fatphobia, ableism, LGBTQIAP+) through books. Both Dutch and English speakers are welcome!

When does it take place?

Every two months on the last wednesday of the month, at 7pm.

Where?

In the Fenix Food Factory, in Katendrecht, Rotterdam!

How much?

The book club is free; we do, however, ask that whenever possible you buy the book from us, or make a small donation to help keep the bookclub going (ask us for a tikkie code!).
